What a beautiful day to play in the park!
Jord and I made cupcakes today for her class tomorrow. She is shabbot girl!
We made the cake batter from a box and the icing from scratch and I have to say homemade icing was, well, the icing on top!!!
So much better than store bought! Give it a try.

Today it felt beyond wonderful to wash off the day and come home.
This week my plate has been (and continues to be) a bit full. I love being busy but I am person that needs a little time to myself even if the busy-ness is fun. Hopefully I can squeeze a bit in soon.
I am so tired today for some reason. It physically hurt to get out of bed. Excited for dinner with The Bears tonight but hoping it doesn’t go too late…
Last night I went to bed at 12:30, fell asleep around 2 and woke up at 7. Then fell back asleep on the couch while Livie took her nap from 10-11:45.

Its one of those days where I am not feeling so cute in my clothes or my skin. Ick those are the worst kinds of days! Hopefully tomorrow I will feel a bit more like myself :)
I got a little homesick today. Good thing I get to go home in 21 days so that will help!
PS there was no doorman strike! I was excited to see Ralphy this morning.

A much needed night in to myself. (Not that I didn’t have one on Monday but I won’t have one for a while).
Plus I had about ten billion dishes to do. I had to put some on the floor to dry and divide and conquer. It was quite a process.
However, after that it was nice and relaxing and lots of TV which is the cure for all stress.
Watching Glee from last night. Madonna episode. Any show that features Like a Virgin has a chance to win me over.
Tonight was a surprise treat having dinner with Ava and Jordans moms at Koi.
It was nice to be treated and try some yummy food. I’m not the biggest japanese fan so I let the moms doing the choosing and I will say I did like a majority of the stuff we got! I would definitely recommend!
It was also nice to talk to them “out of the office”. They are beyond what anyone would...
I no longer live in a doorman building but I did for over 2 years and I work in two doormen buildings now. Tomorrow as you may know there may be a doorman strike across the city.
It makes me sad to think I won’t see the friendly faces every morning. I just told Jord’s doorman that I hoped I would see him in the morning and he said you too.

Remember when you were little and time seemed to creep by so slowly. Summer couldn’t come fast enough and it seemed to last a lifetime. Its been said a million times by a million other people but its different once you start experiencing the quickness of time. Days fly by and years go faster than a blink.
I looked at Ava today and she looked so grown up. I cannot believe I have known her...
