Quick recap of my life in Indy so far:
- It kinda still feel likes vacation. I guess sleeping in and no job will do that.
- But its nice to have a break
- Its amazing to have so many supportive people around so happy I’m home
- It can be painful to see pictures on tumblr of NYC but I know it will be there when I go visit
- I miss my friends but they have done a wonderful job of still being present
- The gym is awesome here and makes it fun to think about getting healthier
- My AC in Ruby Car is fixed. Whole new world
- Job prospects look good so far. Keep your fingers crossed
- I get to go to carb day tomorrow. Super excited

Why is it so hard to find simple, classic pieces to wear. Like plain black ballet flats or (in my case now) nude patent leather wedges that are not Jimmy Choo. Why must there always be rhinestones and crap added to them? Why? Who likes this?? Am I boring that I don’t want chochockies attached to my toes?

Since I started my job back in January, I’ve been reading a lot more package design blogs. A lot of them often feature student work and the above is one of the best I’ve seen. Students come up with a product idea and package it so unfortunately these wine kits are not real. But wouldn’t they be just great for so many things?

What a wonderful weekend hanging out with old and new friends in New Orleans! I took today to recover and get ready for an interview/meeting tomorrow. Send me good vibes.
Today, I also started getting a little bit sad and missing my NYC friends. I am so excited to be home and it is so nice to see my friends here but part of my heart is still in New York and a little part of it always will be.
