I just said goodbye to my girls! So sad to see them go.
Getting some rest, cleaning the apt and then catch up with C!
My name is Jordan. I'm just an Indiana girl living in New York City pretending to be a grownup*. I like summer, drinking multiple beverages at once and sleeping in. I do not like rodents, cloudy days or oxford commas. Have a fun day, smile at a stranger.
Hearts, stars and streamers,

I wasn’t so good at the daily recap. However, it was because we packed so much into our days that I didn’t have time to sit down and type it all out! So here you go. A two day recap!
Yesterday we woke up and went to Murrays Cheese and the deli to grab breakfast and we ate in Washington Square Park just like real New Yorkers do. Then we took the hop on hop off bus all around town. Hopping off at Chinatown (where Izzy scored a cute cupcake necklace so we could match and even bartered on her own. And I got her a very cute purse so I wouldn’t have to carry her wallet in mine anymore) and at Rockafeller Center where we went to the Top of the Rock and saw the WHOLE city.
And THIS was all before 4 pm!
That night we got all gussied up (and ate some cupcakes for Izzy’s birthday) and went to dinner at one of Izzy’s mom and GiGi’s favorite restaurants, Cafe Un Deux Trois, and had a delicious meal before our show. After that it was off to broadway to see the Lion King which was nothing short of amazing!
We were very tired after that and I think we fell asleep in about 10 mins.
This morning we woke up very early and we up to American Girl where we had a hair appointment (for her doll of course) and brunch (I think more breakfast since it was 9 30 in the morning) reservations. It was the cutest place! Afterwards we walked around and Izzy got some presents from the store. Then it was off to central park where we played on some rocks and walked around. After our nature excursion we were in need of some sugar pick me up. So off to Dylan’s Candy Bar we went. I think Izzy had about 10 pounds of sugar today.
We came back to my place afterwards to rest. After putting up our feet for a few I took Isabella to do MY birthday present for her. A mani/pedi like we New York girlfriends do. It was her first pedicure so that was so much fun to watch. When we were all done up we walked down to Soho where Gigi and I shopped around a bit. Then we headed to one of my favorite restaurants in the whole world for dinner, Landmarc. It was yum!
Finally we came back to my apartment and Izzy and Gigi packed up for their departure tomorrow and we played about a million games of Guess Who.
Whew! So much packed in to three days!
I am sure not a lot of you have made it to the bottom after all this but those who have, thank you. Isabella and Gigi are two of the most important people in my life and it was beyond exciting for me to have them here. Especially my little Izzy who is part of my heart and I was so so honored that she chose to spend her 8th birthday in my city visiting me. I have been wanting her to visit since I moved here and I cannot WAIT for her to come back.
(And Quinny too :))
